First and Primary school applications. Our appeals timetable is:

15 January 2026	Closing date for all applications to be received by the Local Authority
16 April 2026	National Offer Day. E-mails sent to those parents who applied online and who requested to be informed by email. Parents who applied on a paper form will have a letter sent out to them today
1 May 2026	Deadline for parents to refuse the school place.
8 May 2026	Any places that become available are allocated in criteria order (on time applicants)
29 May 2026	All remaining places allocated on a first come first serve basis.
31 December 2026	No waiting lists held by the Local Authority after this date.

Notes

1. Any appeal submitted after the deadlines should be heard within 40 school days from the relevant deadline, where possible, or within 30 school days of being lodged.

2. Any appeals for in-year admissions must be heard within 30 school days of being lodged.
