Nursery children are part of our Early Years Foundation Stage which is a combined nursery and reception class. Children can start nursery in the term following their third birthday. We offer nursery sessions as follows which can be selected flexibly depending on places. In their first term, nursery children can attend for mornings only.
Monday & Friday Morning session 8.45 - 11.45
Tuesday – Thursday Morning session only or full day - 8.45 – 3.10
Children can choose to stay for lunch in which case they should be picked up at 12.30pm. A school lunch costs £2.30 for nursery children or they can bring a packed lunch. If staying for lunch means that you exceed your funded hours then you will also need to pay a supervision charge of £2.
Please note that even if your child attends nursery with us, it is still necessary to apply for a Reception place through Northumberland County Council
